I've heard this tune before

Great choice in tune. The minute I saw it on FrontPage I had to watch. Timing was perfect and the part where you incorporated some video into it (the grenades)....BRILLIANT! Can't say I cared too much for the stickfigures though, and it would have been nice to see more action. it got kinda boring after watching the same scenes over and over again.

i found it odd, yet it held my interests, so it's a good flash just for that.

Cool, cool

Heh, yeah this was an interesting music video. While I didn't really like the song I will say that all the actions and everything go well. The graphics are indeed this movie's strong point. I love cell shading!

action, Action, ACTION!

Holy smokes dude, that was awesome! LEt's break it down real quick like here:

Graphics- Using sprites is really hit or miss. Believe me, you hit the bullseye. The sprites you used were so appropriate for all their situations!

Style- Although the plot may seem generic if you think of movies in general, this plot is something I have yet to see played out in a Mario game. Thing is though, I ain't here for the plot. The action in this movie is non-stop and fast paced, just the way I like it!

Sound- Perfect! Good choice with those sound effects. The timing was parfect on every hit and it was great when Mario and Luigi has the sword battle. When my speakers got the feedback from the massive explosion I was like "WHOA!". Ah and Voice Overs. Thank you...THANK YOU!!!

Violence- Like i said before, It was fast and well choreographed. I especially liked when Mario sent that Toad through the tree and his sidewinder spin jump! Also, you didn't use excess of blood and gore and body splits. it was well balanced out.

Interactivity- Good DVD menu. Awesome Title intro.

Humor- When the Toads fall into pit that trapped Mario, and one caught the ledge, lol. good stuff, gooood stuff.

Overall- Well played my man! 5/5, 10/10, +fav

OH man, great line, and the entire movie was full of good humor too. I can't get that jungle song outta my head right now!!

Not what I expected

Wow, this was a lot better than I thought it would be. It's simple and funny. The transition effect was...um....well, "bitchin" and your voice actors were great (along with the sound quality).

An example of what Flash movies SHOULD be

This is exactly what I look for when coming to newgrounds. A well plotted, well drawn animation. I'm not even considering the topic (which i don't mind at all, btw). The events just flowed and the animation went very well with it. Kudos!

By the way, I think I noticed a little DBZ inspiration to your drawings. true? false? I think you'd do well in a DBZ styled animation.

[Mega Man & Pompous Robots]

Good quality animation

This is a very good piece of work here. The animation and movements were great, the music was nicely selected and placed, and the jokes were pretty good. Not exactly side-splitting funny, but I had a good laugh when Bass took off Tengu's mask. big time 5 here! Keep up the good work.

(oh yeah, and FYI, i don't comment on movies often, this was just THAT good)
